Marinas, boat repair & storage

Know every slip, every vessel and every storm plan before the forecast changes.

A marina runs on a slip map, a yard schedule and paperwork that has to be right when the weather turns. We build a site that shows slips and storage by boat length with rates by night, week and month, a back end for tenants, insurance on file, work orders and billing, and a storm-prep plan you can put in front of every customer before the season starts.

What we set up

Slips, storage and rates that fit the boat

Visitors choose transient dockage, a monthly slip, dry stack or trailer and yard storage by boat length, and ask for dates. The AI assistant answers questions about rates and what you need to bring, collects length, beam and draft, and passes the request to your dockmaster. It never promises weather, safe passage, a slip or insurance coverage, and a real person confirms every booking.

Tenants, work orders and the yard

Each vessel has a record with registration, proof of insurance and its expiry date, emergency contacts and a liability waiver. Work orders for repair, winterization and bottom paint track parts and yard labor. Travel lift and launch requests for dry stack go on a schedule, and fuel dock sales and shore-power meter readings are logged for billing.

Storm prep and recurring billing

Before hurricane season you build a plan with haul-out priority and a tie-down checklist, and send it to tenants. Monthly slip and storage fees bill automatically through your own payment processor, with late-fee reminders and a clear record. The waitlist for annual slips stays in order.

Where this business gets hard

The slip map and the real boats drift apart

A 40 foot boat in a 35 foot slip, an unlisted beam or a deep draft at low water causes problems on arrival day. A slip map that stores length, beam and draft for every slip and vessel lets you match a boat before you say yes.

Insurance and registration lapse quietly

Proof of insurance expires and nobody notices until something happens. A record of the document and its expiry date on each vessel, with reminders to the tenant, keeps the file current. Whether a policy actually covers a loss is between the owner and the insurer.

Storm season needs a plan before the storm

On the Gulf Coast, hurricane season means haul-out priority, tie-down checklists and tenant contacts must be ready in advance. A plan stored with each vessel, sent to tenants early, saves a rush of phone calls when a storm is named.

Late accounts and abandoned boats

Unpaid slips and boats nobody collects tie up space and cash. Clear written terms, reminders, a record of every notice and the owner reviewing next steps with counsel keep it orderly. Lien and sale rules vary by state, and the system never threatens a customer.

Set up for the way you work

Not every marinas, boat repair & storage business runs the same way. We adjust the setup to fit yours.

Wet slip marina
Slip map, tenants by type, shore-power metering, pump-out and fuel dock sales drive the setup. Transient, seasonal and annual tenants have different agreements and billing.
Dry stack and storage yard
Rack space, trailer and yard storage, and a travel lift and launch schedule matter most. Customers request a launch by a set time and the yard confirms.
Boat repair yard and service
Work orders, parts, yard labor, bottom paint and winterization jobs, with estimates and approvals before work begins.
Full-service marina and boatyard
All of the above in one record per vessel, with fuel dock, ship store, storage, repair and a waitlist for annual slips.

Busy seasons and slow ones

Gulf Coast marinas often see winter visitors and snowbirds arrive in the cooler months, summer weekends and holidays fill transient slips, and hurricane season runs through the late summer and fall in many years. Storage and haul-out demand can spike before a named storm. We can set up pre-season storm-plan reminders, renewal prompts before annual agreements end, and a waitlist that moves in order when a slip opens.

What your customers ask before they book

Your AI assistant and website are set up to answer these before anyone has to call.

  • Do you have a slip that fits my boat's length, beam and draft?
  • What is the rate by the night, week or month, and what is included?
  • What do I need to bring: registration, proof of insurance, a waiver?
  • What is your storm and haul-out plan, and who decides?
  • How does dry stack launch scheduling work, and how much notice do you need?
  • Is shore power, water and pump-out included or metered?

Common mistakes we help you avoid

  • Accepting a boat without checking length, beam, draft and proof of insurance first.
  • Waiting until a storm is named to collect tenant contacts and decide haul-out order.
  • Promising weather, safe passage or insurance coverage in a message, a sign or an AI reply.
  • Sending a late or lien notice with no written record of earlier reminders, or threatening one before the owner has reviewed the steps.

Rules vary, and the owner stays responsible

Dockage, storage, pump-out and environmental rules, hurricane and storm policies, insurance requirements, and the process for late fees and abandoned vessels vary by state, county, harbor authority and your own written agreements. We build the checklists and records around your rules. The AI assistant never threatens liens, never promises weather, safe passage, a slip or insurance coverage, and never gives legal advice. You stay responsible for compliance, for your agreements and for what you advertise. Talk to a qualified attorney and your insurer about lien, storm and liability terms.
