Window & gutter cleaning

Fill the route, not just the calendar.

Window and gutter work is sold by panes, stories and linear feet, and most of it is done in the same neighborhoods on the same days. We make it easy for customers to describe the house, send a photo and ask for a visit, then keep your routes, ladders, safety checks and repeat customers organized behind it.

What we set up

Quotes by panes, stories and linear feet

Customers count their windows, pick one story or two, estimate the gutter run and add photos. You review them and send a written quote. A small visit fee can hold an on-site look when photos are not enough, and scope is confirmed on site.

Routes by neighborhood

Jobs are grouped by area so a crew can finish several homes on one street in a day. Each job shows the method (water-fed pole or traditional), ladder needs, screens and sills to watch, and the crew lead assigned.

Quarterly and twice-a-year plans

Recurring customers get reminders before each visit, with a link to confirm or skip. Storefront accounts are billed on a schedule, and before and after photos are saved to each property record.

Where this business gets hard

Pricing without counting

A customer says it is a small house and it turns out to have 40 panes, a third story and a long gutter run. Counts, stories and photos before the visit keep the quote honest, and an on-site look settles the harder cases.

Ladders and falls

Working at height is the biggest risk in this trade. Ladder checks, setup notes, a second person where needed and a clear rule for jobs that are too high or too steep protect the crew and the business.

Weather moves the day

Rain, wind, freezing mornings and lightning push jobs around, and a customer who cleared the day is unhappy. Reschedule steps and a flexible window keep a rainout from becoming a lost customer.

Damage claims on screens and sills

A bent screen, a cracked seal or a scratched sill can turn into a dispute weeks later. Condition notes and photos at the start and end of the job give you something to point to.

Set up for the way you work

Not every window & gutter cleaning business runs the same way. We adjust the setup to fit yours.

Residential windows and gutters
Many small jobs in the same neighborhoods. Pane counts, route planning and quarterly or twice-a-year reminders matter most.
Water-fed pole specialist
Reach-and-wash work from the ground with filtered water, often on taller homes and screen enclosures. Water source notes, filter upkeep and height limits drive the setup.
Traditional squeegee and ladder work
Hand cleaning with ladders, including tracks, sills and screens. More time per window, so quotes need a clear line between standard and detail work.
Commercial storefront accounts
Weekly or monthly glass for shops and offices, often before opening. Written bids, certificates of insurance and invoiced billing replace one-off bookings.

Busy seasons and slow ones

Spring and fall are often the busiest, with spring cleaning, pollen, leaf drop and homes being listed for sale. Post-storm weeks can bring a rush of gutter and debris calls. Mid-winter and the hottest weeks can be slower in some regions, which is a good time to send plan reminders and chase storefront accounts.

What your customers ask before they book

Your AI assistant and website are set up to answer these before anyone has to call.

  • How much for my windows and gutters, and can I send photos?
  • Do you clean the screens and tracks too?
  • Do I need to be home, and what do you need from me?
  • Are you insured if something gets damaged?
  • What happens if it rains on the day?
  • Can I set up regular cleanings every few months?

Common mistakes we help you avoid

  • Quoting without a pane count or gutter length, then losing money on a bigger house.
  • Skipping before and after photos, leaving nothing to point to when a customer reports a scratch or a broken screen.
  • Sending a crew to a three story or steep roof job with no rule for when to decline or use other equipment.
  • Letting insurance and workers' compensation lapse unnoticed. Rules vary by state, and the owner stays responsible.

Safety, insurance and licensing vary

Rules on ladder and fall protection, workers' compensation, business licensing and insurance differ by state and city. We build quotes, notes and waiver steps around your own policies and coverage. You stay responsible for meeting the rules that apply to your work and crew. Nothing here is legal advice.
