Health support & patient advocacy charities

Access and data review

Help people connect with support while keeping their health story private.

Supporters and people asking for assistance need clear, different routes. We help make approved information and contact options easier to find without turning private circumstances into public records.

Why work with Fucira on this?

We work through consent, group participation and assistance routing with staff. Your team checks what is collected and who receives it, with private support or clinical records kept in the appropriate systems.

A practical starting point

We look at the tools and routines you depend on before proposing a change. Keep useful software and focus the work on the part that needs to improve.

A scope you can judge

Agree the work, costs, access and checks before setup begins. Provider connections and custom development are identified in the proposal.

A handover your team can use

Your staff test the agreed tasks and get training and instructions. Ongoing care is available with its own defined support scope.

Practical improvements for health support & patient advocacy charities.

These are starting points for your project. We agree the tools, connections and level of development needed for your workflow before quoting.

Approved information and human contact

Publish staff-reviewed resources, support-group formats and safe inquiry routes with a clear response expectation.

Fundraising with permission

Plan campaigns, tribute giving and sponsor follow-up; use individual stories or photographs only with approved consent.

Private support coordination

Keep minimal requests, facilitator roles and aggregate participation reports; sensitive program records need a specialist review first.

The details that make this work for you.

Use these industry considerations to discuss your priorities, exceptions and the way your team works.

Different ways to run this kind of work
Education and awareness charity
Public resources, events and supporter outreach.
Direct assistance or support groups
Private contact, facilitator access and consent need more careful planning.
Planning for busy and quieter periods

Coordinate awareness months, memorial events, annual appeals and facilitator availability; support needs continue outside campaign peaks.

Questions participants and supporters need answered

We work with you on approved information and a clear route to a person. Any connected assistant needs agreed setup, testing and boundaries.

  • Can I contact a person privately?
  • Is this a support group or clinical service?
  • Can I give in memory of someone?
Mistakes to plan around before launch
  • No medical advice, triage, diagnosis or automated assistance decisions. Do not collect health histories in general forms or send them to a public AI assistant. Any clinical or regulated work needs a separate review of the vendor and agreements.
  • Treating a concept demo, provider recommendation or public sign-up as evidence of a production connection or approved assignment.

Plan the parts your team will depend on.

Provider choices and program workflows

What is ready, and what needs setup or building

Available here

Explore industry guides and concept demos, take the assessment or contact us. Inventory v1 now works in the portal for supplies, distribution and current equipment loans; rollout and client setup still need to be verified.

Provider setup required

Donation links or embeds, volunteer sign-ups and specialist software can be set up using your organization's own accounts. Eligibility, subscription, permissions and a full start-to-finish test must be confirmed before launch. No provider below is connected by this catalog.

Custom build required

Automatic syncing with fundraising providers, general volunteer approvals, combined impact reports and specialist inventory add-ons still need to be built. They are not production Fucira modules available today.

Work we can plan with you

Choose what you need. Each item shows whether it is ready and what we check before launch.

Giving and donor follow-upProvider setup; custom sync not built

One-time and recurring gifts, campaigns and fund designations, pledges, offline gifts, tribute and anonymous preferences, thank-yous, sponsor commitments and follow-up with lapsed donors. Keep donors, volunteers and people you serve as separate groups with their own contact choices.

Before we call it live

Test a successful gift, cancellation, recurring-gift changes, refunds, receipts and matching payouts to deposits using the provider's test process. Name where the official records live and how duplicates are handled; don't send duplicate thank-yous or treat a pledge as cash received.

Events, memberships and sponsorshipsProvider setup; unified event operations not built

Free registration or paid tickets, teams and tables, accessibility requests, sponsor packages and promised recognition, volunteer coverage, attendance and follow-up. Keep memberships, ticket purchases, donations and sponsor commitments separate in reports.

Before we call it live

Confirm capacity, cancellation and refund rules, check-in and accessibility. Raffles, auctions and any tax thank-you wording need separate approval and the right provider support; never include them by default.

Volunteer coordinationProvider setup; native Fucira module not built

Applications, skills, availability, orientation, who is eligible for which role, clearance status and renewals; shift capacity, recurring teams, corporate groups, waitlists, substitutions and cancellations; reminders with consent, check-in and check-out, supervisor-approved hours and recognition.

Before we call it live

Test a full shift, a blocked assignment, a cancellation, a replacement and an approved-hours export. Keep background-check reports restricted; a public sign-up never grants clearance. For minors, agree guardian consent, supervision and age-appropriate roles before enrolling them.

Programs, referrals and private intakeSpecialist provider or custom build required

Public service directories, accessible ways to ask for help, staff-reviewed intake, appointments, waitlists, referrals, attendance and overall outcomes. Collect only what you need and keep recipient records apart from donor and volunteer access.

Before we call it live

Confirm safe contact methods, who can see what, how long records are kept and which agency systems you already use before collecting records. AI may explain approved information but cannot decide aid, housing, clinical eligibility or crisis response. Sensitive casework needs a specialist review first.

Grants and impact reportingSpecialist provider or custom build required

For applicants: opportunities, deadlines, awards, restrictions, deliverables and proof for reports. For grantmakers: applications, staff eligibility review, reviewer conflicts, decisions and scheduled follow-up on awards. Define outcomes separately from visits, pounds, hours and other activity counts.

Before we call it live

Agree what each measure means, the reporting periods and the supporting evidence; test a report against approved records. Protect applicant data and keep award decisions with people. Your accounting records stay the financial source of truth; a dashboard is not a restricted-fund ledger.

Board, finance and organization continuityProvider setup; nonprofit automation not built

Board packets, meeting records, policy reviews, approvals, renewal calendars, account owners, expense processes, accounting exports and handover. Write down which system holds contacts, gifts, inventory, cases and financial records.

Before we call it live

Check that an administrator can recover access, that roles can change, that data can be exported and that staff turnover is covered. Match gifts, refunds and deposits without showing donor or client details to the whole board. Review who owns your email and website address, backups and vendor costs, with a named owner.

No medical advice, triage, diagnosis or automated assistance decisions. Do not collect health histories in general forms or send them to a public AI assistant. Any clinical or regulated work needs a separate review of the vendor and agreements.

Tools worth a look for your type of organization

These are our suggestions, based on each vendor's own documentation. They are options to consider, not installed Fucira integrations.

Givebutter

Look at fundraising and donor follow-up separately from patient records.

Fundraising and donor records together for organizations needing campaign follow-up.

Check first: Compare current plan, payment costs, donor checkout choices, exports and supported connections; no Fucira connection is installed.

Givebutter documentation

Zeffy

Consider eligible giving campaigns and tribute support.

Giving links and campaign embeds for eligible organizations; check supported connections, such as Zapier, separately.

Check first: Verify country and organization eligibility, bank ownership, campaign types and what connections it currently supports. Explain optional contributions to Zeffy. An embed does not create a Fucira donor list or volunteer scheduler.

Zeffy documentation

Bonterra Apricot

Look at it only after reviewing how sensitive your assistance records are and what they require.

Human-service organizations evaluating specialist case management and outcome measurement.

Check first: Use a specialist review for sensitive client records, agreements, permissions and mandated reporting. No case-system connection or compliance certification is provided here.

Bonterra Apricot documentation

We last reviewed these providers October 16, 2026. We recheck features, eligibility and pricing when we plan your setup. Systems you already use for tickets, accounting, animal care, case management or agency reporting may still be the best place to keep your records.

Zeffy: a useful giving option, with clear limits

Zeffy offers giving forms you can host or embed, plus recurring donations, and says it is funded by optional donor tips. We can plan a setup with you. No Zeffy account or campaign is connected here.

  1. Step 1Confirm entity and country eligibility, organization-owned bank and administrator accounts, and who can view donors or manage payouts. Your organization keeps account ownership and a trained backup administrator.
  2. Step 2Start small: a campaign link or embed with matching branding, clear one-time and recurring options and an explanation of the optional contribution to Zeffy. Check keyboard and mobile use and provide a direct-link fallback.
  3. Step 3Have staff approve campaign designations, donor questions, thank-you wording and contact preferences. Donations, memberships, event fees and goods pledges stay separate records.
  4. Step 4Use the provider's test tools to check confirmations, recurring-gift changes, refunds and cancellations, and payout records. Record the owner, the evidence and the recovery steps before calling the setup live.
  5. Step 5Plan any data connection separately: agree which records move, how duplicates and missed updates get fixed, who watches for failures and how totals are matched to deposits. Confirm what the provider supports before committing to automation. A thank-you page visit is not proof of a settled gift.
  6. Step 6Don't assume a new system can take over recurring payment details. Agree how old records come over, how duplicates are matched, opt-outs and the provider-supported way to switch before replacing an existing fundraising tool.

Read Zeffy's giving overview and connection options. Our own donor sync and bookkeeping matching still need to be built. Zeffy does not provide volunteer coordination or an inventory system for physical goods.

Stock, supplies and equipment for this industry

Inventory that fits the work

Optional support · Inventory tool built; setup for your organization is confirmed before launch

Office supplies, campaign materials, event kits and equipment you lend out, if you keep stock on hand.

The shared tool records what comes in, what moves, what is handed out and who has borrowed equipment, with a full history and spreadsheet exports. A promised donation does not count as stock until it arrives. Before launch we agree your setup, who can see what, starting counts and staff training.

To confirm: Grantmaking, supporter records, volunteer screening and health information stay separate. A small group may not need stock tracking at all.

Care and support after launch

Care for your site, from launch onward

Getting online is the beginning. We set up monitoring, protection and ongoing care around the way your organization works.

Protection and monitoring
Protection from attacks, plus checks for outages and errors. Alerts go to a named person.
Backups and maintenance
Backups of your data and files, written recovery steps and regular updates, with a way to undo a bad change.
Email that reaches people
Emails under your name for inquiries, confirmations and password resets, checked to make sure they arrive. Staff mailboxes are separate.
Accessible, usable pages
We check your pages on phones, with a keyboard and for speed, aiming for WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility.
Accounts and costs under control
You own your accounts. We track web address renewals, who has access and your usage limits, and warn you before costs grow.
Support and a clear handover
Named contacts, agreed support hours and a handover of your accounts and data. What we review and fix is written into your care plan.

Additional care to discuss for your organization

We select these with you when the related workflow is part of your site or app.

  • Search visibility and useful reporting

Help people find you on Google: correct business details, search checks and simple traffic reports that respect privacy.

  • Customer access and audit history

We check sign-in, password recovery and staff permissions, keep each client's information separate and log important actions.

  • Automations that do not fail silently

We watch scheduled reports and connected services for missed jobs or old data, and fix them quickly.

  • AI with limits and a human handoff

We agree a usage budget, spending alerts and what data AI can see. Sensitive or urgent requests go to a real person.

  • Extra care for sensitive information

Before you collect sensitive information, we review what you collect, who can see it, how long you keep it and your vendor agreements. Specialist needs are scoped before launch.

Your proposal spells out what is covered, how often we review, provider costs and any limits. Our accessibility and security reviews are not compliance certifications.

What is covered, and who is responsible

No medical advice, triage, diagnosis or automated assistance decisions. Do not collect health histories in general forms or send them to a public AI assistant. Any clinical or regulated work needs a separate review of the vendor and agreements.

The right improvement may reach beyond the website.

We can help clean up records, connect tools, build a focused application or train your team to use the software it already has. AI can be part of that work where it suits the task, including private, local setups. Start with the problem you want solved.

Know what you are paying for before work begins.

Your proposal separates provider setup, subscriptions, data migration and custom development, so you can see what is one-time and what recurs. A concept example is a starting point for planning.
